Ilya Kashin and Boris Kostyrko became second in the overall classification of the Monte Carlo Historic Rally

Writing history at the historic Rallye Monte-Carlo. Club GT members start the year 2023 with impressive successes. This has never happened before - our crews have 2nd and 9th places in absolute!  Silver went to Ilya Kashin's crew. He had been doing it for more than ten years, gathering experience, selecting co-drivers and vehicles. This year the technique was adapted again - first generation VW Golf GTI gave way to a Scirocco of 1982.  

Alexey Vasilyev on a Volga GAZ-M-21 of 1961 entered in the top ten. Yes, you need a light and powerful car in a historical Monte-Carlo. That is why the 9th place of Alexey Vasilyev on Volga M-21 is a real smashing success! 

Ilya Kashin winner of Rally Club GT 2022 - the crew of Ilya and Maria Kashin took 3rd place in the supercar rally in the Mercedes SLR Mclaren.
